Hey Students -
As promised, here's a brief overview of tomorrow's test and what you should probably (and by probably, I mean DEFINITELY) brush up on between now and then.
The test is 70 multiple choice/matching/true-or-false questions (no short answers or essays!).
- fact, opinion, & nonfact
- difference between an appropriate/inappropriate thesis
- logical fallacies
- ability to identify persuasive techniques in print ads
- using excerpts to identify ethos, pathos, & logos
Hopefully, this clears things up. If you need further clarification (other than specific test questions), go ahead and shoot me an email at cphillips@csisd.org.
